    Pontypool

    Pontypool is a movie about the zombie plague that’s spread through the spoken word. The virus seems to only infect words and the understanding of words. Hence, anyone speaking is prone to infection.

    Now add that George Orwell once said that Double Think was: The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.

    Words like:

    State

    Taxation

    Police

    Military

    are just a few…When spoken by some they believe what the infected have told them these words mean.

    Are most of us infected?

  14. i-changed-my-url-to-confuse-you said: I, personally, don’t think they are inherently evil (state, taxation, police, military). But when they become corrupt they are evil. Long story short, they are more evil now than at any other point in our history.
